Hobbies, Hobbies and more Hobbies...

I have finally decided that there are just not enough hours in the day.  I love my hobbies, but think I might need a bigger house, or a dedicated hobby house so that I can keep my mess contained.  How great would it be to have a bakery and a sewing room together!  OK, the wish list can begin... Wonder how I will get Scott on board with this one?

This week has been crazy!  We lost one of the greatest members of Scott's family.  Uncle Roy went to be with Jesus after a long and tiring illness.  It is sad that he is gone, but we know he is rejoicing in Heaven with all that have gone before him.  We'll miss you Uncle Roy!

This week is also homecoming week at Pickles' school.  Today was 3 Musketeers day, and the drama started last week!  I am so happy this day is finally here!  I guess if I were in third grade, I would have a hard time understanding as well.  You and two other friends were supposed to get together and dress alike.  Well, initially Pickles was left out. So, after many tears, Pickles went to school and bribed her friends by saying my Mom will make us matching shirts if we all are in the same group!  Works for me.  I made five precious little cowgirl shirts and they loved them!
All the little shirts, minus Pickles'.  I had to make a Target run for another at the last minute!
It was so sweet when some of the little girls called to say thank you!  Regardless of the disaster I now call a home,  the lack of sleep, or the emergency run to Target, I must say it was well worth the effort.  Now I am just hoping I get a picture of them all so I can share with you!

With Christmas right around the corner, I have a huge list of things I would like to make.  Here are some, and maybe if you remind me, I will get them completed.  I want to make a set of velvet angels, a new tree skirt for a new tree I have yet to buy, pasta angel ornaments with Pickles, dough ornaments with both children, a ton of cookies and candies, and of course, make a few new matching outfits for Pickles' and her American Girl doll.

If I get this list completed, it will be an act of the Lord above, but I will aim high and see where we land.  Maybe my husband will be patient and deal with a messy house for a few days... A girl can always dream, right?

Until next time, share with me what you are planning for the holidays, and keep adventuring. Joy is found in the small, unpredictable details of life!

Sarah
