Little Man's Birthday... Party Planning at it's Finest!

What better reason to have a party, than for a little one's birthday?  I am so excited to plan the Little Man's party, I can hardly wait.  It is even more fun when you get to mix in family that you don't get to see but a few times a year.  Since the Little Man is turning two, I think it is appropriate to incorporate all of his favorite things.  At the top of the list are trains!  He loves trains. He loves Thomas and Chuggington, but he also loves the big yellow engine that roars through Como several times each week. Not to sure the phenomenon, but if we see a train while out driving, it makes his day.  With great joy, he yells, "Choo Chooooo.  Choo Choooo!"  

So, for his birthday celebration, what better way to celebrate than to have trains.  I am so excited with the cake idea, I can hardly wait to make it. What will make it better is I will be able to collaborate with my family and have their help and input.  I even have cookie cutters that make up a train, so we are sure to have fun with this one. 

The birthday boy must have his special train attire.  Being a converted Southern Belle, I am tempted to put him in a smocked outfit with a train motif. However, the Country Girl in me is a little more practical, and knows that my sister will make fun of the "Amish" looking outfit, so I made him a shirt to wear instead.  It turned out so cute, and I know he will be more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt.  Here is a sneak peak of what we have to look forward to this weekend!
